Back in 2009, during a Cybernetics class at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, we built a small robot out of Lego. We called it PEP-E. It wasn’t the fastest or the most advanced… but it was ours, and we grew fond of it. We barely passed the course — and laughed a lot along the way.
Years later, I decided to pay tribute to that memory. This is how this short animated sci-fi film was born: a post-apocalyptic story where that little robot awakens centuries later in a world without humans.
A poetic and visual journey, reimagining Gran Canaria as a land reclaimed by nature, echoes of the past… and a robot whose only purpose is to do good — even if no one is watching.

Animated short film centered on Kirian Rodríguez’s story of overcoming difficulties during the 2022/2023 season. After facing serious health issues, Kirian managed to recover in time to compete in the most decisive stretch of the season and contribute to UD Las Palmas’ historic promotion.
The short film was created using various artificial intelligence tools (Runway, ChatGPT, Photoshop), with editing and final editing by me.

Developed in WordPress a crowdfunding platform for the program Actyvate. Tasks included designing User Experience and workflow of the site. Within the first 3 months of the project, the team raised more than RM 7.3 Million and fully funded 150 community projects.
